(KTLA) — An Inglewood man is preparing to bury his wife for a second time after a mortuary mix-up. Evan Davidson says he kept telling officials at Simpson Family Mortuary that the woman in the casket didn't look like his wife. He says morticians told him it was because of embalming. But a few days after the funeral, Davidson got a call from the mortuary asking him to come identify a body. This time, it was his wife. The mortuary had buried the wrong woman at his wife's grave site. “You know, instead of getting over it, you go right back into it,” Davidson said. “I wasn't sleeping as it was, and now here we go again.” KTLA put in a call to the mortuary for comment, but has not received any response yet.
