It was not being aired on any television networks, it was before the broadcast started. The contest involved making a layup, free throw, three-pointer, then a half court shot, all within a 24 second shot clock! The guy made the layup and free throw, but ran to half court next. The crowd erupted in boos when they announced he obviously lost. Felt so bad for the guy, he was celebrating that 50k winnings like a champ for a good 10 seconds. They ended up giving him free donuts and pizza for a year, along with lifetime tickets to the MVC tourney and 3 nights at a hotel in St. Louis for next year's tournament. I'm pretty sure he was a Creighton fan, however, and we all know Creighton probably won't be in the Missouri Valley Conference next year anyways, so the prize doesn't mean much. Crazy! Enjoy.
